Wedding Ceremony – The Burgh House, Hampstead
Wedding Venue – The Pickle Factory, Bethnal Green, London
Hamstead is a pretty little town in North West London where Naomi + Dan chose to make their vows, in The Burgh House specifically. As Dan is a poet, we knew this would be a wedding of many words! And we were right, as part of their reception entertainment they had poets that would listen to guests talk about themselves or things they liked and then they would put together a little poem for them to take away as favours, drive-thru poetry if you will. Even we got in on this action!
What got us about this pair was their chosen Pickle Factory reception venue in Bethan Green! We’re pickle enthusiasts to say the least. Such a cool venue with an entrance of shipping containers and strung up fairy lights. They even had a taco truck outside! It felt like a typical East London street feast! We got to shoot this couples portraits in Shoreditch which was so much fun! We had so much time with them which is rare. It started in Bell Boi coffee shop and how could we not use the crazy colourful street art of Brick Lane. We wondered around the East London streets looking for marvellous backdrops without fail. Our favourite shot was in the middle of the road surrounded by people and shops and Naomi sporting that kickass leather jacket like a boss bride.
We Uber’ed our way to Bethnal Green and took a stroll along Regent’s Canal where we ended up in Libertine Alley (yes, where the Libertines shot their video). A fantastic London wedding with the coolest couple who I am sure won’t mind if I say this was also an awesome hipster wedding!
