Sea of Love… Sophie & Nick
Last week Laimonas and I journeyed back to my home town of Banbury in Oxfordshire to meet up with a couple of our newest clients, Sophie & Nick. These were our first clients that we (myself) have a bit of history with. I went to school with Sophie about 9 years ago and we haven’t seen each other since. She looks exactly the same as I remember and is just as lovely too. She and Nick have been together for 9 years! (our longest committed couple so far!) And they are getting married in July next year in Cornwall.
We discovered that Nick is also a photographer and together, we think they make the perfect couple. They are great lovers of the sea it seems, and this will be our first coastal wedding, we cannot wait! Their plans are very detailed yet very relaxed at the same time. Their wedding is taking place on Polhawn Fort, for those of you who don’t know what this magical corner of our country is, we have put some pictures up, but no image can do this amount of natural beauty any justice!

The couple and their families are lucky enough to have the Fort for 5 days and Laimonas and I will be shooting for 2 days, one of which, we will be capturing the boys sailing on their boats. Some fantastic photo opportunities here no doubt!
The wedding ceremony will be held outside as well as the reception in an open marquee. It sounds like a dream and the pair of us are jotting down our ideas, excited as ever!
We love shooting weddings, but beautiful locations really make for a perfect back drop for our photography. I can imagine that the shooting will be a lot easier with outstanding views from every angle. It’s a long while off yet, but we thought we would let you know what’s coming up.
And me being all about the music, I think this calls for a song… My next Pick Of The Week will be dedicated to Sophie & Nick. I hope they find it a fitting tune, it’s short, sweet and relevant.
Lots of Love

Pick Of The Week!
Julia Stone – You’re the one that I want
Love Struckers! Lately I have been obsessed with this cover by Julia Stone. I’m sure you are all very familiar with the original from Grease, I’ll be honest, that film is not one of my favourites, musicals are completely not my thing, but this take on a cheesy song is outstanding! It’s chilling almost, and I think it’s a beautiful song for couples. I have been making my wedding playlist for years… Most girls pick out their dress or their venue, I’ve been working extensively on my wedding music! I can imagine walking down the isle on my Dad’s arm with this lush tune queueing me in ^_^ Enough dreaming Julietta…
I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
Love

Happy 31st Anniversary Mr. & Mrs Izzo
Today is 31 years to the day that my Mum & Dad got married
Big stuff! This is a polaroid snap of them in Faicchio, Italy where my Dad is from on their honeymoon. I love the fashion and the stylish poses from them both. So I would like to wish them a very Happy Anniversary and I hope that one day I can mirror this kind of commitment.
To all of you Love Struckers, think about your 30th Wedding Anniversary… What will you have achieved by then? How much will you have changed? Where will you be in the world? All of those things are uncertain but one thing that is certain is you will look back to your wedding day and remember why you said ‘I do’.
The sweetest of love

Inkspot Crow Films – Otis & Nitasha
I was doing my usual blogging on Tumblr getting excited for our latest bookings! And I came across this beautiful video, well I came across 2 actually, but this one stood out because of it’s versatility, I love how two cultures have come together and I love the music! I’m quite sure it’s by Sigur ros.
Anyway, I simply had to feature it on here because it would be a crime not to. It’s not vintage like most are these days, but I think they way it has been filmed and edited is just superb. I hope you all enjoy it as much as we did!
Peace & Love

Hop onboard the London Love Bus, Martin & Emma!
Earlier this year we had the pleasure of photographing Martin & Emma’s Engagement as well as their wedding day (which you may have noticed featured on the blog already!). We had a bit of a play on the bus image, which might not be too obvious, but look closer (basically before we spent a long time amending this photo, the ad on the bus was about bread and bacon!) Martin and Emma will definitely notice the difference
They have not yet seen this image!! Surprise!
These images were taken before the Jubilee and we felt that her dress was more than fitting for the occasion at hand! We Love It!
Pick Of The Week!
Madness – It Must Be Love
The madness of the Jubilee long weekend is far behind us now, and the both of us were lucky enough to be in the crowd for the concert at the Palace, and what a rowdy crowd it was! But we won’t go into that! Anyway, our favourite act of the evening was definitely Madness from the Palace roof top! We sang and we danced and we held each other and swayed under the big moon lost in hundreds of thousands of people (the biggest heap of mature cheese right there) and this song came on… Amazing. This blog is starting to look like a playlist for my own wedding… But who doesn’t love this song? It’s so hard not to sing along to
Enjoy
Peace and the cheesiest Love,
Julietta
