Taking the tube to a wedding is something we enjoy very much. Right on our doorstep so to speak. On this day, we took the Victoria Line to Kings Cross where we would meet Marcella & Ian in the grand Chambers of The St Pancras Renaissance Hotel, untraditionally, casually getting ready for their wedding together, not something we often see, however, it was very sweet and gave us some really special time to photograph this couple moments before they would become husband and wife.

The vibe in the room was so relaxed, it almost didn’t feel like a wedding was about to occur, if it wasn’t for Marcella’s chic, lace wedding dress and (something) blue satin heels. That’s not to say that Ian didn’t look like he was on shoot for his dapper threads, and with the grandeur of this chamber, it certainly could have been a location shoot that we were on.

This untraditional approach to an intimate wedding has given this couple their final moments before the rest of their lives as a married couple, this being the ‘you may now kiss the bride to be’ kiss. Practicing I think…
