Julia Stone – You’re the one that I want
Love Struckers! Lately I have been obsessed with this cover by Julia Stone. I’m sure you are all very familiar with the original from Grease, I’ll be honest, that film is not one of my favourites, musicals are completely not my thing, but this take on a cheesy song is outstanding! It’s chilling almost, and I think it’s a beautiful song for couples. I have been making my wedding playlist for years… Most girls pick out their dress or their venue, I’ve been working extensively on my wedding music! I can imagine walking down the isle on my Dad’s arm with this lush tune queueing me in ^_^ Enough dreaming Julietta…

Today is 31 years to the day that my Mum & Dad got married 🙂 Big stuff! This is a polaroid snap of them in Faicchio, Italy where my Dad is from on their honeymoon. I love the fashion and the stylish poses from them both. So I would like to wish them a very Happy Anniversary and I hope that one day I can mirror this kind of commitment.
To all of you Love Struckers, think about your 30th Wedding Anniversary… What will you have achieved by then? How much will you have changed? Where will you be in the world? All of those things are uncertain but one thing that is certain is you will look back to your wedding day and remember why you said ‘I do’.
